Weekly Meals – Save Time, Eat Healthy
(Personal chef in the Boston metropolitan area and on Martha’s Vineyard)

During the scheduled work or school week, set the table and sit down with your family to enjoy healthy dinners carefully prepared in your own kitchen, tailored to your own family’s tastes and needs.

Catherine is an experienced chef who will come to your house once a week or every other week to stock your fridge, preparing  dinners for your household, that includes the main course, sides, soups and salads. Her priority is  using the freshest and most flavorful seasonal ingredients from area farms, fishmongers, farmers markets  and Whole Foods Market, to create dishes brimming with vegetables, healthy grains and legumes, fish,  chicken or meat. Nothing is frozen; everything is from scratch. Each week brings a new menu – exploring  ethnic dishes from around the world, from the latest and best cookbooks or what’s freshest in the market.

Catherine brings her experience as an author of 4 popular cookbooks and more than a dozen years of cooking as a private chef for families in the Boston area and on Martha’s Vineyard. Her area of expertise is creating healthy meals that taste delicious, first and foremost. She graduated from the Natural Gourmet Cooking School, a vegetarian and health-based school in New York City, so vegetarian or vegan meals are also a specialty.

She plans, shops, and cooks in your kitchen. When she leaves, your refrigerator is stocked with meals and labeled with instructions for serving. And the kitchen is spotless. All you have to do is come home, and choose a meal to enjoy. Save your own cooking or eating out for the weekends when you have more time.

How it works
 Try the service for a week – see how you like it!

  1. Cathy reviews your family needs, determines food likes and dislikes, and accommodates any allergies and/or specific diets.
  2. Cathy writes a customized weekly menu for the household
  3. Cathy shops, cooks in your kitchen, cleans up, fills the fridge with food, and provides a sheet with instructions for serving. Service is $60 an hour or  $375 for the day (for 4 dinners, sides, salads etc.), plus groceries.
